The European Bulletin of Himalayan Research (EBHR) is an inter-disciplinary journal sponsored by the Centre national de la recherche scientifique; South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg; and the School of Oriental and African Studies, with editorial responsibilities rotating between the three institutions every three years. In order to make the journal available to interested readers in Nepal, the Social Science Baha has undertaken to publish it out of Kathmandu since 2004. This arrangement began with Issue 25/26 of EBHR, with Issue 35/36 being the last one published.
